पर्वतेषु च रम्येषु सर्वेषु च सरस्सु च । उदधौ च महापुण्ये सूपस्पृष्टं महात्मभि:,“रमणीय पर्वतों और समस्त सरोवरोंमें विशेषत: परम पुण्यमय समुद्रके जलमें इन महात्माओंके साथ भलीभाँति स्नान एवं आचमन किया है
parvateṣu ca ramyeṣu sarveṣu ca sarassu ca | udadhau ca mahāpuṇye sūpaspṛṣṭaṃ mahātmabhiḥ ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Sa mga kaaya-ayang kabundukan, sa lahat ng lawa, at lalo na sa karagatang pinakabanal at hitik sa bisa ng kabutihan, sila—kasama ng mga dakilang kaluluwa—ay nagsagawa ng masusing paliligo ayon sa ritwal at ācaman (pag-inom ng banal na tubig sa pagdalisay). Ipinahihiwatig nito ang paglilinis, paggalang sa mga sagradong pook, at disiplin sa kanilang paglalakbay.
