यवक्रीत-वधः
The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
ततः समभवद् रक्षो घोराक्षं भीमदर्शनम् । अब्रूतां तौ तदा रैभ्यं कि कार्य करवावहै,उससे एक राक्षस प्रकट हुआ, जिसकी आँखें बड़ी डरावनी थीं। वह देखनेमें बड़ा भयानक प्रतीत होता था। उस समय उन दोनोंने रैभ्य मुनिसे पूछा--“'हम आपकी किस आज्ञाका पालन करें?”
tataḥ samabhavad rakṣo ghorākṣaṃ bhīmadarśanam | abrūtāṃ tau tadā raibhyaṃ kiṃ kāryaṃ karavāvahai ||
Pagkaraan, lumitaw ang isang rākṣasa, kakila-kilabot ang mga mata at nakapanghihilakbot pagmasdan. Noon, nagsalita ang dalawa sa pantas na si Raibhya: “Anong gawain ang aming isasagawa bilang pagsunod sa iyong utos?”
