यह कुशवान्‌ नामक हृद है, जिसमें कुशेशय नामवाले कमल खिले रहते हैं। यहीं रुक्मिणीदेवीका आश्रम है जहाँ उन्होंने क्रोधको जीतकर शान्तिका लाभ किया था |। समाधीनां समासस्तु पाण्डवेय श्रुतस्त्वया । त॑ द्रक्ष्यसि महाराज भृगुतुड़ंं महागिरिम्‌,पाण्डुनन्दन! महाराज! तुमने जिसके विषयमें यह सुन रखा है कि वह योगसिद्धिका संक्षिप्त स्वरूप है--जिसके दर्शनमात्रसे समाधिरूप फलकी प्राप्ति हो जाती है, उस भगुतुंग नामक महान्‌ पर्वतका अब तुम दर्शन करोगे

ayaṁ Kuśavān nāmakaḥ hradaḥ, yasmin Kuśeśaya-nāmāni padmāni vikasanti. atraiva Rukmiṇī-devyā āśramaḥ, yatra sā krodhaṁ jitvā śāntiṁ prāptavatī. samādhīnāṁ samāsaḥ tu pāṇḍaveya śrutaḥ tvayā; taṁ drakṣyasi mahārāja Bhṛgutungaṁ mahāgirim, Pāṇḍu-nandana.

“Ito ang lawa na tinatawag na Kuśavān, kung saan namumukadkad ang mga lotus na kilala bilang Kuśeśaya. Narito rin ang hermitage ni Ginang Rukmiṇī, kung saan napagtagumpayan niya ang galit at natamo ang kapayapaan. At ngayon, O anak ni Pāṇḍu, O dakilang hari: masisilayan mo ang makapangyarihang bundok na tinatawag na Bhṛgutunga—na iyong narinig na isang siksik na larawan ng mga pagtatamo ng samādhi, isang pook na sinasabing ang mismong pagtanaw dito ay nagdudulot ng bunga ng pagkalubog sa pagninilay.”
