अम्बरीषश्व नाभाग इष्टवान् यमुनामनु । यत्रेष्टवा दश पद्मानि सदस्येभ्योडभिसृष्टवान्
Ambarīṣaś ca Nābhāga iṣṭavān Yamunām anu | yatreṣṭvā daśa padmāni sadasyebhyo 'bhisṛṣṭavān ||
Sinabi ni Lomaśa: “Sina Ambarīṣa at Nābhāga ay nagsagawa ng handog sa tabi ng Yamunā. Doon, matapos ganapin ang ritwal, namahagi siya ng sampung kaloob na tulad ng lotus sa mga pari at sa mga kalahok na nagtipon.”
लोगश उवाच
The verse underscores that yajña is ethically completed through proper generosity—distributing auspicious gifts (dakṣiṇā) to the assembled officiants and participants—linking ritual performance with social responsibility and dharmic giving.
Lomaśa recounts an example from sacred history: Ambarīṣa and Nābhāga perform a sacrifice on the banks of the Yamunā, and upon completion, gifts described as ‘ten lotuses’ are distributed to the members of the sacrificial assembly.
