Prabhāsa-tīrthe Vṛṣṇi–Pāṇḍava-saṅgamaḥ; Halī Rāmasya dharma-vimarśaḥ

Meeting at Prabhāsa and Balarāma’s Reflection on Dharma

ते हि सर्वे महात्मान: सर्वशास्त्रविशारदा: । वृष्णय: पाण्डवाश्रैव सुहृदश्च॒ परस्परम्‌,जनमेजयने पूछा--तपोधन! प्रभासतीर्थमें पहुँचकर पाण्डवों तथा वृष्णिवंशियोंने क्या किया? वहाँ उनमें कैसी बातचीत हुई? वे सब महात्मा यादव और पाण्डव सम्पूर्ण शास्त्रोंके विद्वान और एक-दूसरेका हित चाहनेवाले थे, (अतः उनमें क्या बात हुई? यह मैं जानना चाहता हूँ)

te hi sarve mahātmānaḥ sarvaśāstraviśāradāḥ | vṛṣṇayaḥ pāṇḍavāś caiva suhṛdaś ca parasparam ||

Sinabi ni Janamejaya: “Sapagkat silang lahat—ang mga Vṛṣṇi at ang mga Pāṇḍava—ay mga dakilang-loob, bihasa sa lahat ng śāstra, at magkatuwang na mga kaibigang naghahangad ng kabutihan ng isa’t isa. Kaya nang marating nila ang banal na tawiran ng Prabhāsa, ano ang kanilang ginawa roon, at anong uri ng pag-uusap ang naganap sa pagitan nila? Iyan ang nais kong marinig.”
