Sañjaya’s Report

निर्मोचने षघट्‌ सहस््राणि हत्वा संच्छिद्य पाशान्‌ सहसा क्षुरान्तान्‌ मुरं हत्वा विनिहत्यौघरक्षो निर्मोचनं चापि जगाम वीर:

sañjaya uvāca |

nirmocane ṣaṭ-sahasrāṇi hatvā sañchidhya pāśān sahasā kṣurāntān |

muraṃ hatvā vinihatyaugha-rakṣo nirmocanaṃ cāpi jagāma vīraḥ ||

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Pagdating sa labas ng Nirmocana, mabilis na pinagputol-putol ng bayaning Śrī Kṛṣṇa ang mga panaling bakal na matalas na parang labaha—anim na libo ang bilang. Pagkaraan, pinaslang niya ang dambuhalang si Mura at nilipol ang nagkakaisang hukbo ng mga rākṣasa, saka pumasok sa lungsod ng Nirmocana. Ipinakikita ng tagpong ito ang pasyang pagkilos laban sa marahas na pang-aapi: ang lakas ay hindi para sa pananakop, kundi upang putulin ang gapos, alisin ang lagim, at ibalik ang kaligtasan.
