Sañjaya’s Report
यदा मन्द: परबाणान् विमुक्तान् ममेषुभिह्ठियमाणान् प्रतीपम् । तिर्यग्विध्याच्छिद्यमानान् पृषत्कै- स्तदा युद्ध धार्तराष्ट्रोडन्वतप्स्यत्
yadā mandaḥ parabāṇān vimuktān mameṣubhiḥ pratīpaṃ nivāryamāṇān | tiryag vidhyāc chidyamānān pṛṣatkaiḥ tadā yuddhe dhārtarāṣṭro ’nutapsyati ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Sa digmaan, ang mga palasong pinakawalan ng ibang mandirigma ay sasalubungin ng aking mga palaso at itutulak pabalik. At ang iba ko pang palaso ay tatama nang pahilis, dudurog at hihiwain ang mga bugso ng palaso ng kaaway. Kapag nakita ito ng hangal na Dhārtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana), mapait siyang magsisisi sa pag-udyok sa digmaang ito.”
