ययोश्षित्तेन वा चित्तं निभृतं निभृतेन वा । समेति प्रज्ञया प्रज्ञा तयोमैत्री न जीय॑ति
yayōḥ cittēna vā cittaṁ nibhṛtaṁ nibhṛtēna vā | samēti prajñayā prajñā tayōḥ maitrī na jīyati ||
Sinabi ni Vidura: Kapag ang isip ng dalawang tao ay nagtatagpo sa isip—kapag ang lihim na binabantayan ay tumutugon sa lihim na binabantayan, at ang pag-unawa ay umaalingawngaw sa pag-unawa—hindi nalalanta ang kanilang pagkakaibigan. Ang pagkakatugma ng panloob na layon at karunungan ang nagpapakatatag sa bigkis na iyon at nagpapahirap itong mapatid.
