उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय 33: धृतराष्ट्र-विदुर संवादः (विदुरनीतिः)
ऋणजु पश्यति य: सर्व चक्षुषानुपिबन्निव | आसीनमपि तूष्णीकमनुरज्यन्ति तं प्रजा:
ṛṇaju paśyati yaḥ sarva cakṣuṣānupibann iva | āsīnam api tūṣṇīkam anurajyanti taṃ prajāḥ ||
Sabi ni Vidura: Ang tumitingin sa lahat nang may mabait at mapagkalingang titig—na wari’y iniinom sila ng mga mata—ay nagkakamit ng pag-ibig ng bayan; kahit siya’y nakaupo lamang at tahimik, ang mga nasasakupan ay nagiging tapat sa kanya. Ipinapakita ng taludtod na ang loob at mahabaging pagtingin, higit sa malalakas na salita o pagpapakitang-tao, ang likás na humihila ng tiwala at katapatan—aral sa pamumuno at pagkakasundo sa lipunan.
