भविष्यतीत्येव मन: कृत्वा सततमव्यथै: । सफलता होगी ही, ऐसा मनमें दृढ़ विश्वास लेकर निरन्तर विषादरहित होकर तुझे उठना, सजग होना और एऐश्वर्यकी प्राप्ति करानेवाले कर्मोमें लग जाना चाहिये ।।

bhaviṣyatīty eva manaḥ kṛtvā satatam avyathaiḥ | (vat-sa) utthātavyaṃ prabodhitavyaṃ ca tvayā, aiśvaryaprāptikaraṇeṣu karmasu ca niyoktavyam || maṅgalāni puraskṛtya brāhmaṇān devatābhiḥ saha (pūjayitvā), anyāni ca maṅgalakriyāḥ sampādya, sarvakāryārambhakṛd buddhimān rājā śīghram unnatiṃ gacchati | yathā sūryaḥ pūrvadiśam āśritya niyataṃ prakāśayati, tathā rājaśrīr api tam eva rājānam sarvataḥ prāpya yaśasā tejasā ca sampādayati ||

Itanim sa isip ang katiyakang darating ang tagumpay. Sa patuloy na pag-iwas sa panghihina ng loob, bumangon ka, manatiling gising at mapagmatyag, at ituon ang sarili sa mga gawaing nagdudulot ng paghahari at kasaganaan. Ang marunong na hari na nagsisimula ng bawat gawain sa pamamagitan ng mga mapalad na ritwal—pagpupugay sa mga Brahmin kasama ng mga diyos at pagtupad sa iba pang mga pagpapala—ay mabilis na umuunlad. Kung paanong ang araw ay tiyak na sumasandig sa silangan at pinapaliwanag iyon, gayon din ang kapalarang panghari ay dumarating sa gayong hari mula sa lahat ng panig at pinagkakalooban siya ng dangal at ningning.
