उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly

इमं हि पुण्डरीकाक्षमभिभूय प्रसहु च

imaṃ hi puṇḍarīkākṣam abhibhūya prasahu ca

Sapagkat matapos mapanaig ang May-matang-Lotus na ito—oo, sa pamamagitan ng lantay na dahas—(gayon niya ito ginawa). Ipinapakita ng taludtod ang sandaling mabigat sa etika: ang “may matang lotus,” tanda ng dangal at pagpipigil, ay hindi hinarap sa panghihikayat o sa asal na ginagabayan ng dharma, kundi pinasuko sa puwersang mapang-api, na naglilitaw ng tunggalian sa pagitan ng wastong payo at ng udyok na mangibabaw.
