ययातिपतन-कारणम् (The Cause of Yayāti’s Fall) — Nārada’s Counsel on Pride and Reconciliation
यत् फलं दानशीलस्य क्षमाशीलस्य यत् फलम् | यच्च मे फलमाधाने तेन संयुज्यतां भवान्
yat phalaṁ dānaśīlasya kṣamāśīlasya yat phalam | yac ca me phalam ādhāne tena saṁyujyatāṁ bhavān ||
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Nawa’y mapuspos ka ng kabanalang bunga ng taong masigasig sa pagbibigay, ng bunga ng taong masigasig sa pagpapatawad, at ng anumang bunga na nakalaan sa akin mula sa pagsasagawa ng mga ritong Veda gaya ng pagtatatag ng banal na apoy. Nawa’y magkaisa sa iyo ang lahat ng gantimpalang banal na ito.”
