ययातिपतन-कारणम् (The Cause of Yayāti’s Fall) — Nārada’s Counsel on Pride and Reconciliation
प्राप्तवानस्मि यल्लोके सर्ववर्णेष्वगर्हया । तदप्यथ च दास्यामि तेन संयुज्यतां भवान्,“मैंने जगतमें सभी वर्णोकी निन्दासे दूर रहकर जो पुण्य प्राप्त किया है, वह भी आपको दे रहा हूँ। आप उस पुण्यसे संयुक्त हों
prāptavān asmi yal loke sarvavarṇeṣv agarhayā | tad apy atha ca dāsyāmi tena saṁyujyatāṁ bhavān ||
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Ang anumang kabutihang natamo ko sa mundong ito sa pananatiling walang kapintasan sa gitna ng lahat ng uri ng lipunan—malaya sa asal na dapat sisihin—ay ibinibigay ko ngayon sa iyo. Nawa’y mapuspos at mapatatag ka ng kabutihang iyon.”
