Purohita-Niyoga and the Brahma–Kṣatra Concord
Aila–Kaśyapa Saṃvāda
The verse teaches that honoring the Brāhmaṇa and offering him the best available sustenance is a dharmic duty. Ethical life is shown through reverence, generosity, and proper hospitality toward those associated with learning and sacred responsibility.
Kaśyapa addresses Mānyaśva and instructs him on correct conduct: the Brāhmaṇa should be treated as worthy of worship, and one should present superior offerings—especially food given directly into the recipient’s outstretched hands—because such giving aligns with dharma.
