तस्माद् बुभूषुर्नियतो जितात्मा नियतेन्द्रिय: । मेधावी स्मृतिमान् दक्ष: संश्रयेत महीपतिम्,इसलिये अपनी उन्नतिकी इच्छा रखनेवाला, मेधावी, स्मरणशक्तिसे सम्पन्न एवं कार्यदक्ष मनुष्य नियमपूर्वक रहकर मन और इन्द्रियोंको संयममें रखते हुए राजाका आश्रय ग्रहण करे
Translation
Kaya nga, ang taong nagnanais umunlad ay mamuhay nang may disiplina, magtaglay ng pagpipigil-sa-sarili, supilin ang isip at mga pandama; at bilang marunong, may matibay na alaala at mahusay sa gawain, dapat siyang sumandig at magpasakop sa hari.
