यं न जानन्ति को होष कुतो वा भगवानिति । देवता, दानव, गन्धर्व, यक्ष, राक्षस और नाग भी जिनके विषयमें यह नहीं जानते हैं कि 'ये भगवान्‌ कौन हैं तथा कहाँसे आये हैं?”

yaṃ na jānanti ko hoṣa kuto vā bhagavān iti | devatā dānavā gandharvā yakṣā rākṣasā nāgāś ca api yeṣāṃ viṣaye idaṃ na jānanti—“ko ’yaṃ bhagavān, kuta āgataḥ” iti |

Wika ni Bhishma: Maging ang mga diyos, ang mga Dānava, Gandharva, Yakṣa, Rākṣasa, at mga Nāga ay hindi rin tunay na nakaaalam tungkol sa Kanya—kung sino ang Mapalad na Panginoon na iyon, at kung saan Siya nagmula.
