Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Accession Settlements and Approach to Vāsudeva (युधिष्ठिरस्य राज्यस्थापनं वासुदेवाभिगमनं च)
जयं प्राप्ता यशश्वाग्र्यं न च धर्मच्युता वयम् । “बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ श्रीकृष्ण! बुद्धिदेवीने आपका आश्रय लिया है न? प्रभो! हमने आपकी ही कृपासे राज्य पाया है और यह पृथ्वी हमारे अधिकारमें आयी है। भगवन्! आप ही तीनों लोकोंके आश्रय और पराक्रम हैं। आपकी ही दयासे हमने विजय तथा उत्तम यश प्राप्त किये हैं और धर्मसे भ्रष्ट नहीं हुए हैं!
jayaṃ prāptā yaśaś cāgryaṃ na ca dharmacchyutā vayam |
Nakamit namin ang tagumpay at ang pinakadakilang karangalan, at hindi kami nalihis sa dharma. (Sa ganitong diwa, binibigyang-diin ng nagsasalita na ang kanilang tagumpay ay hindi lamang pampulitika o pandigma, kundi tagumpay na nakaugat sa matuwid na asal.)
