कौस्तुभेनोरसिस्थेन मणिनाभिविराजितम् । उद्यतेवोदयं शैलं सूर्येणाभिविराजितम्
kaustubhenorasi sthena maṇinābhivirājitam | udyatevodayaṁ śailaṁ sūryeṇābhivirājitam ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Taglay ang hiyas na Kaustubha sa kanyang dibdib, siya’y nagningning nang marilag; na para bang ang sumisikat na araw ay nagpapaliwanag sa bundok sa silangan. Pinatitingkad ng larawang ito ang banal na kamahalan at kabutihang-palad, at itinatanghal ang liwanag bilang tanda ng panloob na kagalingan at makatarungang paghahari, hindi lamang palamuti.
