इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत गोक्षधर्मपर्वमें उज्छवृत्तिका उपाख्यानविषयक तीन सौ सत्तावनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārata-śāntiparva-ke antargata-gokṣadharmaparvaṇi ujjhavṛttikā-upākhyāna-viṣayaka trī-śata-saptapañcāśattamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Sa gayon nagtatapos ang ika-357 na kabanata ng Śānti Parva ng Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng bahaging tinatawag na Gokṣa-dharma Parva, na tumatalakay sa kuwentong halimbawa (upākhyāna) ni Ujjhavṛttikā. Ipinahihiwatig ng pangwakas na kolopon na ganap na ang aral ng kabanata, na inihain bilang huwarang etikal sa mas malawak na pagtalakay sa dharma.
