अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
का शक्तिर्मम देवेश प्रजा: सत्रष्ठु नमो<स्तु ते । अप्रज्ञावानहं देव विधत्स्व यदनन्तरम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kā śaktir mama deveśa prajāḥ sraṣṭuṁ namo 'stu te | aprajñāvān ahaṁ deva vidhatsva yad anantaram ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Panginoon ng mga diyos, anong lakas ang nasa akin upang lumikha ng mga nilalang na may buhay? Pagpupugay sa Iyo. O Diyos, lubos akong salat sa karunungang kailangan sa paglikha; yamang batid Mo ito, gawin Mo ngayon ang anumang itinuturing Mong nararapat bilang susunod na hakbang.”
