The Brahmin’s Vow and the Nāgas’ Hospitality Appeal
That divine insight (here attributed to Devadeva/Hari) comprehends the full moral and causal field of events—past, present, and future—across all realms, including both auspicious and inauspicious outcomes; such knowledge is communicated to qualified sages for the guidance of dharma.
Nārada addresses a great sage and affirms that whatever occurs in the three worlds is already known, because Devadeva has revealed to that sage the totality of events—what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen—framed in terms of śubha and aśubha consequences.
