Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī
न तत्र सूर्यस्तपति न सोमो5भिविराजते । न वायुर्वाति देवेशे तपश्चरति दुश्वरम्
na tatra sūryas tapati na somo 'bhivirājate | na vāyur vāti deveśe tapaś carati duśvaram ||
Wika ni Nārada: “Sa kahariang iyon, hindi nakapapaso ang araw, hindi nagliliwanag ang buwan, at ni ang hangin ay hindi umiihip. Sa piling ng Panginoon ng mga diyos, na abala sa napakahirap na pag-aayuno at pagninilay, nawawalan ng bisa ang karaniwang puwersa ng daigdig.”
