Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
यस्त्वां वेत्ति स मां वेत्ति यस्त्वामनु स मामनु । नावयोरन्तरं किंचिन्मा ते5भूद् बुद्धिरन्यथा
yastvāṁ vetti sa māṁ vetti yastvām anu sa mām anu | nāvayor antaraṁ kiñcin mā te 'bhūd buddhir anyathā ||
“Sinumang tunay na nakakakilala sa iyo ay nakakakilala rin sa akin; sinumang sumusunod sa iyo ay sumusunod din sa akin. Sa pagitan nating dalawa ay walang anumang pagkakaiba—huwag sanang sumibol sa iyong isip ang salungat na pag-aakala.”
