Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)

कल्पयिष्यन्ति वो भागांस्ते नरा वेदकल्पितान्‌ । “देवगण! सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें जो मनुष्य यज्ञोंद्वारा यजन करेंगे, वे तुम्हारे लिये वेदके कथनानुसार यज्ञभाग निश्चित करेंगे ।।

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kalpayiṣyanti vo bhāgāṁs te narā vedakalpitān | "devagaṇa! sampūrṇa-lokeṣu ye manuṣyā yajñair yajiṣyanti, te yuṣmad-artham vedokta-vidhinā yajñabhāgān niśceṣyanti" | yo me yathā kalpitavān bhāgam asmin mahākratau

«Itatakda ng mga taong iyon ang mga bahagi para sa inyo ayon sa itinadhana ng Veda. O kapulungan ng mga diyos! Sa lahat ng daigdig, ang mga taong sumasamba sa pamamagitan ng yajña ay, para sa inyo, magtatakda ng mga bahagi ng handog nang tumpak ayon sa kautusang Vedic. (At nagpapatuloy ang diwa:) ‘Sinumang nagtakda ng aking bahagi sa dakilang sakripisyong ito sa ganito o gayong paraan…’»
