पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings
शुकस्य वचन श्रुत्वा दिश: सर्वा: सकानना: । समुद्रा: सरित: शैला: प्रत्यूचुस्तं समन््तत:
śukasya vacanaṃ śrutvā diśaḥ sarvāḥ sakānanāḥ | samudrāḥ saritaḥ śailāḥ pratyūcustam samantataḥ ||
Nang marinig ang mga salita ni Śuka, ang lahat ng mga dako kasama ang kanilang mga kagubatan—pati ang mga karagatan, mga ilog, at mga bundok—ay sumagot sa kanya mula sa bawat panig. Ang buong kalikasan, na wari’y pinagkalooban ng tinig at kapangyarihan, ay tumugon sa pantas, na nagpapahiwatig na ang katotohanang moral ay hindi nakakulong sa pananalita ng tao, kundi inuulit at pinatutunog ng kaayusan ng sangnilikha mismo.
