Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva
कथं त्वहमसंश्लिष्टो गच्छेयं गतिमुत्तमाम् | नावर्तेयं यथा भूयो योनिसंकरसागरे
kathaṁ tv aham asaṁśliṣṭo gaccheyaṁ gatim uttamām | na āvarteyaṁ yathā bhūyo yoni-saṅkara-sāgare ||
Wika ni Nārada: “Paano ako, na walang pagkakapit at hindi nasasangkot, makaaabot sa kataas-taasang kalagayan—upang hindi na muling bumalik sa karagatang ito ng pagiging-makamundo, sa dagat ng halu-halong at paulit-ulit na mga kapanganakan?”

The verse frames liberation as freedom from attachment and entanglement (asaṁśliṣṭaḥ). The ethical-spiritual aim is to reach the ‘highest state’ (uttamā gati) characterized by non-return—ending the cycle of repeated births symbolized as an ocean (sāgara) of saṁsāra.
