Yajña-bhāga-vyavasthā and the Pravṛtti–Nivṛtti Framework (यज्ञभागव्यवस्था तथा प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्तिधर्मविवेचनम्)
तच्छुत्वा व्यथिता लोकाः क इमामुद्धरेदिति । अथ देवगणं सर्व सम्भ्रान्तेन्द्रियमानसम्
tac chrutvā vyathitā lokāḥ ka imām uddhared iti | atha devagaṇaṁ sarvaṁ sambhrāntendriyamānasam |
Sinabi ni Bhishma: Nang marinig iyon, nayanig sa dalamhati ang mga tao at nag-isip sa sarili, “Sino ang makabubunot sa kapangyarihang iyan?” Noon din, ang buong kapulungan ng mga diyos ay naguluhan; ang kanilang mga pandama at isipan ay nabalot ng takot. Nang makita ni Vishnu ang kanilang pangamba at ang panganib na bumibigat sa mga daigdig, pinag-isipan niya kung anong hakbang ang higit na mabuti at nararapat.
