शुक उवाच उत्पन्ने ज्ञानविज्ञाने निर्दच्धे हदि शाश्वते । किमवश्यं निवस्तव्यमाश्रमेषु भवेत्‌ त्रिषु

Transliteration

śuka uvāca utpanne jñāna-vijñāne nirdagdhe hṛdi śāśvate | kim avaśyaṃ nivastavyam āśrameṣu bhavet triṣu ||

Translation

Tinanong ni Śuka: “O Hari, kung sa mismong yugto ng brahmacarya ay sumilang na ang walang-hanggang kaalaman at ang natamong karunungan (jñāna-vijñāna), at ang mga dungis sa puso ay nasunog na, sapilitan pa rin ba para sa gayong tao na mamuhay sa natitirang tatlong āśrama?”
