एवमुक्तस्तु शक्रेण वज्ञ: परपुरञण्जय: । कुमारमन्तरप्रेक्षी नित्यमेवान्वपद्यत,इन्द्रके ऐसा कहनेपर शत्रुओंकी नगरीपर विजय पानेवाला वज्र मौका देखता हुआ सदा उस राजकुमारके आस-पास ही रहने लगा

Transliteration

evam uktas tu śakreṇa vajraḥ parapurañjayaḥ | kumāram antaraprekṣī nityam evānvapadyata ||

Translation

Nang masabihan ni Śakra (Indra), ang Vajra—na bantog bilang manlulupig ng mga lungsod ng kaaway—ay nagbantay sa pagkakataon at mula noon ay palaging nananatiling malapit sa prinsipe, nagmamasid at handang kumilos.
