Akṣara–Kṣara Viveka: Vasiṣṭha–Karāla-Janaka Saṃvāda (अक्षर-क्षर विवेकः)

सतोये<न्यत्‌ तु यत्‌ तोयं तस्मिन्नेव प्रसिच्यते । वृद्धे वृद्धिमवाप्रोति सलिले सलिलं यथा

satoye'nyat tu yat toyaṃ tasminneva prasicyate | vṛddhe vṛddhim avāpnoti salile salilaṃ yathā rājann |

Wika ni Parāśara: “O Hari, gaya ng kapag ibinuhos ang dagdag na tubig sa sisidlang may tubig na, ang tubig sa loob ay dumarami sapagkat nahahalo sa bagong ibinuhos; gayon din, ang naipong kabutihan ay lumalago kapag gumagawa pa ng mga bagong gawaing may bisa sa parehong diwa. Nagkakaisa ang dating kabutihan at ang bagong kabutihan, at sa kanilang pinagsamang pagdami, ang tao’y lalo pang nagiging sagana sa kabutihan.”
