इन्द्र–बलि संवादः

The Dialogue of Indra and Bali on Fortune, Humility, and Restraint

संस्काराणामसंख्यानां कामात्मा तदवाप्नुयात्‌ । मनस्यन्तर्तितं सर्व स वेदोत्तमपूरुष:

saṃskārāṇām asaṅkhyānāṃ kāmātmā tad avāpnuyāt | manasy antarhitaṃ sarvaṃ sa vedottama-pūruṣaḥ ||

Wika ni Bhishma: Ang taong ang isip ay hinihila ng pagnanasa ay nakararanas sa panaginip ng di-mabilang na bakas ng impresyon (saṃskāra) at ng maraming tagpong sumisibol mula roon. Ang lahat ng bakas na iyon ay nakatago sa loob mismo ng isip; ang Kataas-taasang Panloob na Tagapamahala—ang Pinakamataas na Purusha na ipinakikilala ng Veda—ang nakaaalam sa lahat.
