Manifest–Unmanifest Discrimination and the Supreme Path of Withdrawal

Kṛṣṇa is presented as the cosmic Lord in whom the entire universe and the cyclical wheel of time (creation and dissolution) operate; recognizing this inspires reverence, devotion, and a dharmic perspective on impermanence and cosmic order.
Bhīṣma, instructing the listener in Śānti Parva, introduces Kṛṣṇa’s supreme majesty and frames the cosmos as revolving within Him, emphasizing His role as the ground of all worlds and the cycle of time.
