अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अर्यमा चैव भगवान् ये चास्य तनया विभो । एते प्रदेशा: कथिता भुवनानां प्रभावना:,प्रभो! भगवान् अर्यमा और उनके सभी पुत्र--ये प्रदेश (आदेश देनेवाले शासक) तथा प्रभावन (उत्तम स्रष्टा) कहे गये हैं
aryamā caiva bhagavān ye cāsya tanayā vibho | ete pradeśāḥ kathitā bhuvanānāṃ prabhāvanāḥ prabho ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Si Aryaman, ang kagalang-galang na diyos, at ang lahat ng kanyang mga anak—O makapangyarihan—ay ipinahahayag na mga ‘pradeśa’, ang mga may ganap na kapangyarihang mamahala, at mga ‘prabhāvana’, ang malalakas na puwersang nag-iingat at nagpapalakas sa mga daigdig, O panginoon.”
