Keśava-tattva-kathana
On the Principle of Keśava: Cosmogony and Divine Epithets
उष्यतां मयि चेत्युक्त्वा चेतयत् सततं पुनः । अथाय्यं प्रविवेशास्य ब्राह्मणो विगतज्वर:
uṣyatāṃ mayi cety uktvā cetayat satataṃ punaḥ | athājñāṃ praviveśāsya brāhmaṇo vigatajvaraḥ ||
Sinabi ni Bhishma: Matapos sabihin, “Manahan ka sa loob ko nang may kaginhawaan,” paulit-ulit siyang ginising ni Brahmā sa tunay na kaalaman. Pagkatanggap ng utos, ang Brahmin—malaya na sa lagnat at dalamhati—ay pumasok sa bibig ni Brahmā na tulad ng lotus, tanda ng ganap na paglaya at muling paglusaw sa banal na pinagmulan.
भीष्य उवाच
True knowledge (tattva-jñāna) dispels inner affliction (“fever” as a metaphor for sorrow and bondage). When ignorance is removed and the teacher grants permission, the seeker attains release, depicted as merging back into the divine source.
Brahmā tells the Brahmin to reside within him, repeatedly awakens him to higher understanding, and then—after granting permission—receives him back. The Brahmin, now free from suffering, enters Brahmā, indicating completion of the spiritual journey and dissolution of individuality.
