राजोवाच ददतो<स्य न गृह्नासि विषम प्रतिभाति मे । दण्ड्यो हि त्वं मम मतो नास्त्यत्र खलु संशय:,राजाने कहा--विकृत! यह तुम्हें तुम्हारी वस्तु दे रहा है और तुम लेते नहीं हो। यह मुझे अनुचित जान पड़ता है; अतः मेरे मतमें तुम दण्डनीय हो; इसमें कोई संशय नहीं है
Transliteration
rājovāca: dadato 'sya na gṛhṇāsi; viṣamaṃ pratibhāti me | daṇḍyo hi tvaṃ mama mato nāsty atra khalu saṃśayaḥ ||
Translation
Wika ng hari: “Kapag inihahandog ng taong ito ang nararapat, hindi mo tinatanggap. Sa aking paningin, iyan ay hindi nararapat. Kaya sa aking paghatol, ikaw ay dapat parusahan—walang alinlangan dito.”
