जयेनाद्भुतकल्पेन देवदेवं तथार्चयन् | तत्पश्चात् सम्पूर्ण महर्षियों और देवताओंने उस अद्भुत विजयसे संतुष्ट हो देवाधिदेव महादेवकी पूजा की ।। ततः स भगवान् रुद्रो दानवक्षतजोक्षितम्
jayenādbhuta-kalpena deva-devaṁ tathārcayan | tat-paścāt sampūrṇā maharṣayo devatāś ca tena adbhutena jayena santuṣṭāḥ deva-adhidevaṁ mahādevaṁ pūjayām āsuḥ || tataḥ sa bhagavān rudro dānava-kṣata-joṣitam ||
Sa pamamagitan ng isang kahanga-hangang ritwal ng tagumpay, sinamba nila ang Diyos ng mga diyos. Pagkaraan, ang lahat ng dakilang rishi at ang mga diyos, lubos na nasiyahan sa pambihirang pananaig na iyon, ay naghandog ng pagsamba kay Mahādeva—ang Kataas-taasan sa mga diyos. भीष्म उवाच
The passage underscores that even gods and great seers acknowledge a higher divine sovereignty: after victory, they turn to worship Mahādeva. Ethically, it frames triumph as something to be consecrated through humility, gratitude, and right ritual—placing power and success under dharmic reverence rather than pride.
