यच्च पैतामहं स्थान ब्रह्म॒राशिसमुद्धवम्‌ । गुहायां पिहित॑ नित्यं तद्‌ दमेनाभिगम्यते,ब्रह्मराशिसे उत्पन्न हुआ जो पितामह ब्रह्माजीका उत्तम धाम है, वह हृदयगुहामें छिपा हुआ है। उसकी प्राप्ति सदा दम (इन्द्रियसंयम और मनोनिग्रह) से ही होती है

Transliteration

yac ca paitāmahaṃ sthānaṃ brahma-rāśi-samudbhavam | guhāyāṃ pihitaṃ nityaṃ tad damenābhigamyate ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Yaong kataas-taasang tahanan—ang sinaunang tahanan ng mga ninuno, na nagmula sa pinagmumulang Brahman—ay laging nakatago sa yungib ng puso. Nararating lamang ito sa pamamagitan ng dama: disiplinadong pagpipigil sa mga pandama at matatag na pamamahala sa isip.”
