शीतार्तश्ष क्षुधार्तश्ष पूजामस्मै समाचर । “यह व्याध आपके निवास-स्थानपर आकर सर्दी और भूखसे पीड़ित होकर सो रहा है। आप इसकी यथोचित सेवा कीजिये
śītārtaś ca kṣudhārtaś ca pūjām asmai samācara |
Sinabi ni Bhishma: “Ang mangangaso na ito ay dumating sa iyong tahanan at, pinahihirapan ng lamig at gutom, ay nakahandusay na natutulog. Ihandog mo sa kanya ang nararapat na pag-aasikaso at pagkamapagpatuloy.”
