आपद्धर्मनिर्णयः — विश्वामित्र-श्वपचसंवादः

एवं विचिन्तयामास मूषिक: शरत्रुचेष्टितम्‌

evaṁ vicintayāmāsa mūṣikaḥ śatrucēṣṭitam |

Sa gayon, maingat na pinag-isipan ng daga ang galaw at pakana ng kaaway. Sanay siyang tumukoy ng paraan upang matamo ang layunin, at marunong magpasya kung kailan angkop ang pakikipagkasundo o ang pakikipagtunggali. Inaliw niya ang pusa at nagsalita sa matatamis na salita—itinago ang estratehiya sa anyo ng kahinahunan.
