इति श्रीमहा भारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धार्मपर्वणि त्रयस्त्रिंशयदधिकशततमो< ध्याय: ।। १२३३ ।। इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत आपद्धर्मपर्वमें एक सौ तैंतीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi trayastriṃśad-adhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ || 1233 ||
Sa gayon, sa Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng Śānti Parvan—lalo na sa bahaging Āpaddharma Parvan (dharma sa panahon ng kagipitan)—nagtatapos ang ika-isang daan at tatlumpu’t tatlong kabanata. Ang pangwakas na kolofon na ito’y tanda ng pagwawakas ng kabanatang kung saan ang pagtuturo ni Bhīṣma kay Yudhiṣṭhira ay patuloy na nagtatakda ng balangkas ng wastong asal sa ilalim ng krisis at mga limitasyon.
