नैतौ सम्भवतो राजन्‌ कथंचिदपि पार्थिव । न हारण्येषु पश्यामि धनवृद्धानहं क्वचित्‌

Translation

Wika ni Bhishma: “O Hari, O panginoon ng lupa, ang pag-iipon ng yaman at ang pagtalikod sa yaman—ang dalawang ito ay hindi maaaring magsama sa iisang tao sa iisang panahon. Sapagkat kailanman ay hindi ko nakita ang mga banal na mapagpigil na naninirahan sa gubat na yumayaman sa anumang dako.”
