मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा
Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
न चास्मिन्नपरे लोके यशस्तस्य प्रकाशते । न चान्यदपि कल्याण परत्र समुदाह्ृतम्
na cāsminn apare loke yaśas tasya prakāśate | na cānyad api kalyāṇaṃ paratra samudāhṛtam ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Sa mundong ito at maging sa kabilang-buhay, hindi sisikat ang mabuting pangalan ng gayong tao. Ni sa kabilang dako ay hindi niya madaling maaabot ang iba pang pinagpala at mabuting kaginhawahang sinasabi.”
