मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा
Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
न चायं न परो लोकस्तस्य चैव परंतप । अमानिता नित्यमेव यस्यैते गुरुवस्त्रय:,शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरेश! जिसने इन तीनों गुरुजनोंका सदा अपमान ही किया है, उसके लिये न तो यह लोक सुखद है और न परलोक
na cāyaṁ na paro lokas tasya caiva parantapa | amānitā nityam eva yasyaite guravas trayaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “O tagasunog ng mga kaaway! Ang taong palagiang lumalapastangan at walang paggalang sa tatlong mararangal na dapat igalang na ito—para sa kanya, hindi magiging mapalad ang mundong ito, ni ang susunod na daigdig.”
