अरुन्धत्यपि कल्याणी तपोनित्याभवत् तदा । “वे तपस्वी मुनि वहीं आश्रम बनाकर रहने लगे। उस समय कल्याणी अरुन्धती भी प्रतिदिन तपस्यामें ही लगी रही
Arundhaty api kalyāṇī tapo-nityābhavat tadā.
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Noong panahong iyon, ang mapalad na si Arundhatī ay naging matatag din sa tapas, araw-araw na nakatuon sa mahigpit na pagdidisiplina. Ang mga muning mapagpakasakit ay nagtayo ng āśrama roon at nanirahan. Sa panahong iyon, si Arundhatī na mabiyaya ay araw-araw na nagpakasigasig sa pagninilay at pag-aayuno, hindi lumilihis.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic steadiness: true virtue is shown through consistent self-discipline (tapas) and unwavering commitment to a righteous way of life, not merely through words or status.
The narrator states that during that period Arundhatī, described as kalyāṇī (virtuous/auspicious), remained continually engaged in austerities—indicating a sustained ascetic mode of living in the hermitage context.
