कुमाराभिषेकप्रश्नः — Inquiry into Kumāra (Skanda) Investiture at Sarasvatī
महर्षीणां मतं ज्ञात्वा ततः सा सरितां वरा
maharṣīṇāṁ mataṁ jñātvā tataḥ sā saritāṁ varā
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang maunawaan ang pasya ng mga dakilang rishi, ang pinakadakila sa mga ilog ay kumilos ayon doon—iniayon ang agos nito sa payo ng mga pantas, tanda ng paggalang sa kapangyarihan ng karunungan at sa bigat na etikal ng pagkilatis at pagsunod sa matuwid na patnubay.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
