त्वमेवाकाशगा देवि मेघेषु सृजसे पय: । सर्वाक्षापस्त्वमेवेति त्वत्तो वयमधीमहि,'देवि! तुम्हीं आकाशमें जाकर मेघोंमें जलकी सृष्टि करती हो, तुम्हीं सम्पूर्ण जल हो; तुमसे ही हम ऋषिगण वेदोंका अध्ययन करते हैं

tvam evākāśagā devi meghēṣu sṛjase payaḥ | sarvākṣāpās tvam eveti tvatto vayam adhīmahi ||

Sinabi ni Vasiṣṭha: “O Diyosa, ikaw lamang ang dumaraan sa kalangitan at sa loob ng mga ulap ay lumilikha ng tubig. Ikaw mismo ang kabuuan ng tubig sa lahat ng anyo. Mula sa iyo, tunay nga, kaming mga rishi ay tumatanggap ng kakayahang pag-aralan at ipamana ang mga Veda.”
