Adhyāya 21 — Duryodhanasya bāṇavarṣaḥ
Duryodhana’s Arrow-Storm and the Dust-Obscured Engagements
चापवेगबलोद्धूतान् मार्गणान् वृष्णिसिंहयो: । आकाशे समपश्याम पतजड्भानिव शीघ्रगान्,वृष्णिवंशके उन दोनों सिंहोंके धनुषके वेग और बलसे चलाये हुए शीघ्रगामी बाणोंको हम आकाशगमें छाये हुए टिड्डीदलोंके समान देखते थे
cāpavegabaloddhūtān mārgaṇān vṛṣṇisiṃhayoḥ | ākāśe samapaśyāma pataṅgān iva śīghragān ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Natanaw namin sa langit ang mga palasong matutulin, na pinalipad ng lakas at bilis ng mga busog ng dalawang bayaning tila leon mula sa angkan ng Vṛṣṇi—na wari’y mga pulutong ng tipaklong na kumakalat at tumatakip sa himpapawid.”
