Report of the Night Raid and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Lament
अहमेको<वशिष्ट स्तु तस्मात् सैन्यान्महामते । मुक्त: कथंचिद् धर्मात्मन् व्यग्राच्च कृतवर्मण:
aham eko ’vaśiṣṭas tu tasmāt sainyān mahāmate | muktaḥ kathaṃcid dharmātman vyagrāc ca kṛtavarmaṇaḥ ||
Wika ng Sūta: “Mula sa dakilang hukbong iyon, O marunong, ako lamang ang naiwan. O matuwid, nakatakas ako sa kung paanong paraan—sapagkat si Kṛtavarman ay abala sa pagpatay sa ibang dako; kaya ako’y nakalaya sa panganib na iyon.”
