वैशम्पायन उवाच एवं ते पुरुषव्याप्रा: सर्वे व्यायतबाहव: । प्रतिज्ञा बहुला: कृत्वा धृतराष्ट्रमुपागमन्
vaiśampāyana uvāca evaṁ te puruṣavyāprāḥ sarve vyāyatabāhavaḥ | pratijñā bahulāḥ kṛtvā dhṛtarāṣṭram upāgaman ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O hari, sa gayon, ang mga lalaking tulad ng leon—ang lahat ng Pāṇḍava, malalapad ang bisig at masigla sa gawa—pagkaraang gumawa ng maraming taimtim na panata, ay nagtungo kay Haring Dhṛtarāṣṭra.”
