नकुल बोले--दुर्योधनके प्रियसाधनमें लगे हुए जिन धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोने इस द्यूतसभामें द्रपदकुमारी कृष्णाको कठोर बातें सुनायी हैं, कालसे प्रेरित हो मौतके मुँहमें जानेकी इच्छा रखनेवाले उन दुराचारी बहुसंख्यक धुृतराष्ट्रकुमारोंको मैं यमलोकका अतिथि बना दूँगा ।।
nakula uvāca—duryodhanasya priyasādhane lagāḥ ye dhṛtarāṣṭraputrā asyāṃ dyūtasabhāyāṃ drupadakumārīṃ kṛṣṇāṃ kaṭhorāṇi vākyaśaḥ śrāvayām āsuḥ, kālena preritā mṛtyumukhaṃ gantum icchantaḥ te durācārā bahusaṅkhyā dhṛtarāṣṭrakumārāḥ mayā yamalokasyātithayo bhaviṣyanti. nideśād dharmarājasya draupadyāḥ padavīṃ caran nirdhṛtarāṣṭrāṃ pṛthivīṃ kartāsmi na cirād iva.
Sinabi ni Nakula: “Ang mga anak ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra na abala sa pagpapasaya kay Duryodhana at nagsalita ng mabibigat na salita laban kay Draupadī (Kṛṣṇā), anak ni Drupada, sa bulwagang sugal na ito—ang mga masasamang iyon, na itinutulak ng Kāla at sabik sumuong sa bibig ng kamatayan—gagawin kong mga panauhin sa daigdig ni Yama. Sa utos ni Dharmarāja, at alang-alang kay Draupadī, di magtatagal at gagawin kong walang bakas ng mga anak ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra ang buong daigdig.”
नकुल उवाच
The verse frames abusive speech and humiliation of the innocent as adharma that ripens into inevitable consequence (kāla). It also shows the tension between righteous restraint under Dharmarāja’s authority and the kṣatriya impulse to restore honor through just retribution.
In the gambling hall episode, Draupadī has been insulted. Nakula, speaking in the assembly, vows that the Kauravas who spoke cruelly to her—acting to please Duryodhana—will be slain and sent to Yama’s realm, and that under Yudhiṣṭhira’s command he will help make the earth free of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons.
